Today at work I told a man in a sky blue shirt my plans. He gave me a crumpled dollar bill and said, “Good luck.” I thought of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The last man who told me something special at work was a witch. He told me not to mess with demons. He warned of not casting a circle before inciting magic. He was also a master gardener. I took his words to heart.
